Bet on Baseball - New York Mets vs Washington Nationals

    Bet the Game Live

You can bet on the Mets vs. Nationals at BetDSI sportsbook. Make your wagers before the game begins and then continue to bet on baseball while the action is in progress. Check out the full schedule for live betting by reading our sports blog.

    Saturday Pitching Matchup

The Mets are set to go with Jon Niese on Saturday. He is 9-6 on the season with a 3.67 ERA. He has been very good of late with a 2-1 record and a 2.57 ERA. He has also had some good success against the Nationals with a 2-0 record and a 2.93 ERA.

Edwin Jackson should get the call for the Nationals in this one. He is 7-7 with a 3.74 ERA. He normally goes five or six innings for Washington and gives up two or three runs. He has a 1-0 record in his career against the Mets with a 5.29 ERA.

    Mets vs. Nationals Trends

The Nationals had taken 8 of the last 10 in this series before Friday?s contest. The Nationals swept the Mets in New York last month winning 5-2, 5-2 and 8-2. The Mets have actually been more competitive on the road in this series splitting the last four meetings. That goes right along with the overall trends for both teams this season. The Nationals have a good record at home but they have been a better bet on the road. The Mets are nothing special at home or on the road but at least on the road they are getting plus money.

    Baseball Picks

This has the looks of a pitching duel especially since neither team is really that potent offensively. We?ll go under the total with our top play on this game and also make a smaller play on the Nationals as we bet on baseball. For more baseball odds make sure and follow BetDSI@Twitter today.
