Job Summary:
The primary duties of this position are in the area of adult physical medicine, geriatrics and pediatrics; however, responsibilities may vary based on the needs of the department. The incumbent will serve on the pediatric feeding team. He or she will provide evaluation and follow-up services to these children. In addition, the successful candidate could be asked to carry out various other pediatric-related duties.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Must be registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Assessing client needs and developing clinical intervention plans;
Providing clinical Occupational Therapy intervention, including treatment, education and consultation, in the client?s home, school or other community settings;
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and other service providers to facilitate effective communication; and
Must have or agree to obtain, current CPR training.
Must be able and prepared to travel to patients? homes and/or other community service settings.
Must have a valid driver?s license and a good driving record.
Possibility of using your own vehicle
Written and spoken competence in French and spoken competence in English are required.
